FRANCE
My history!: I was born in Paris and spent most of my childhood in Lyon, 2nd town of France. I went to high school at Lycee St-Exupery in Lyon and graduated in 1984. I then went to study an IUT of business at the University of Toulon-La Garde in the south of France. In 1987, I went to Minneapolis as a French teacher in a high school. in 1988, I worked at Club Med Martinique as the travel agency manager. I came back to Paris in 1989 and got exempted from the army! I then got a job as an account manager at Procter & Gamble in Paris for 2 years. In 1991, I left Paris with 2 suitcases to try to find a job in America, a country I really wanted to experience again. On my way to New York I decided to take some vacations in Martinique. After a few weeks I found a job as tennis teacher in Club Med again! I worked there 4 months and met an American woman, Laura, who lived in Toronto. I followed her to Toronto, Canada. So I went to Canada! |
Mon histoire!: Je suis né à Paris et j'ai passé une grande partie de mon enfance à Lyon et Caluire. J'ai étudié au lycée St-Exupery à Lyon et obtenu un DUT à l'Université de Toulon-La Garde en 1986. Je suis parti en 1987 aux USA à Minneapolis en tant que professeur de français dans un lycée. En 1988, j'ai travaille au Club Med Martinique en tant que responsable de l'agence de voyage du Club. J'ai eu de la chance la même année d'être exempté de l'armée! J'ai ensuite été embauché chez Procter&Gamble à Paris en tant que responsable de comptes. En 1991, j'ai quitté Paris avec 2 valises pour tenter de trouver un job aux USA. De New York, j'ai décidé de prendre quelques semaines de vacances et suis parti en Martinique; après quelques semaines, Club Med Martinique m'a proposé un poste de GO tennis, et je suis resté enseigner le tennis pendant 4 mois! J'y ai rencontré une femme américaine que j'ai suivi à Toronto, Canada où elle habitait. En route pour le Canada! |
